The Costa Rican – U.S. Binational Center

The Costa Rican – U.S. Binational Center (El Centro Cultural Costarricense-Norteamericano - CCCN) is a nonprofit institution whose mission is “To provide the best tools for global success through innovative language and intercultural programs that foster understanding and friendship between the people of Costa Rica and the United States of America.”  CCCN aims not only teach English to Costa Rica’s ever-increasing workforce but also Spanish to the country’s residents and visitors. CCCN’s intensive language program stresses oral communication, vocabulary, local idioms, and Costa Rican culture.
