Partners: The Costa Rican Investment Promotion Agency

The Costa Rican Investment Promotion Agency (La Coalición Costarricense de Iniciativas de Desarollo - CINDE) is a private, non-political organization dedicated to advancing Costa Rica’s social and economic development through the promotion of foreign direct investment (FDI). CINDE strives to encourage sustainable growth and improve the country’s competitiveness by generating income, employment, interrelationships, technology transfers, and knowledge for the benefit of all Costa Ricans. Since its inception, CINDE has been instrumental in encouraging and facilitating the establishment of over 200 transnational companies in Costa Rica, resulting in the creation of over 15,000 new jobs since 2001.
