Partners: The Mathematics School of Costa Rica’s National University

The Mathematics School of Costa Rica’s National University (La Escuela de Matemática) was born from a need to foster mathematics and its teaching within Costa Rican society. The institution seeks to develop dynamic academic leadership in its discipline and enhance research in mathematics education and application. The school adheres to the principle that, by introducing mathematics at the grade-school level, it can increase subject-level interest and aptitude country-wide.
