Partners: The Paniamor Foundation

The Paniamor Foundation (La Fundación Paniamor) is a nonprofit organization created in Costa Rica in 1987 to provide preventive and technical services toward the protection of youth rights. The foundation works in three permanent programa areas: the Violence Prevention Program, which addresses personal violence against and amongst children and youth; the Incidence Program, which addresses the lack of due performance among the public institutions responsible for the protection of children’s rights; and the Social Development Program, which works with adolescents from socioeconomically deprived communities to address issues of poverty and exclusion.
