CRUSA has a long and successful history of supporting the Omar Dengo Foundation (ODF). During its first year of operations, CRUSA approved a grant that enabled the ODF to establish a computer network, jointly with the Ministry of Education, to connect the schools of its Computer Education program. This initiative has benefited more than half a million students, and its impact continues today.

Since then, CRUSA has supported ODF in consolidating its teacher training efforts, bringing innovation into the classroom through the implementation of courses and lectures. It has also supported projects that promote critical thinking, encourage greater citizen participation, and generate entrepreneurial capacities through the simulation of real businesses, benefiting more than 1,800 students in 2007.
