The Esperanza School Summer Camp was founded in 2015 to provide a nutritious hot lunch and structured activity to the children of Esperanza during January school vacation. In addition to lunch, 60-70 children enjoy four hours of Arts and Crafts, Sports (including yoga and surfing lessons) Books, Games, and Puzzles, and Theater Arts, Monday-Friday. Emphasis is also placed on trips away from the school – to the Kitson Library and to local tourist activities most Esperanza children would never otherwise enjoy
