Hogar de Ancianos Hortensia Rodríguez Sandoval de Bolaños is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing comprehensive care for older adults in vulnerable circumstances. Through safe housing, nutritious meals, medical and nursing care, rehabilitation, and ongoing companionship, the organization creates an environment where every resident can age with dignity and security. Guided by respect, solidarity, and compassionate care, the home also works closely with volunteers, donors, and community partners to strengthen residents’ wellbeing, autonomy, and quality of life.

Current Need
Restoring a safe and supportive home is the organization’s immediate priority following the 2026 emergency that affected its infrastructure. Completing rehabilitation work will ensure secure living spaces for all 62 residents, while new partnerships and donations are needed to strengthen long-term financial sustainability. Continued support will also help improve comprehensive care and rehabilitation programs, ensuring that every resident can experience greater safety, wellbeing, and quality of life.
