About
Founded in 1952, Asociación Damas Israelitas Pro Beneficencia is a nonprofit organization committed to supporting vulnerable populations across Costa Rica. Guided by the Jewish principle of Tikún Olám (repairing the world), the organization works to address physical, social, and community needs through initiatives focused on education, health, inclusion, and older adults. Through fundraising efforts and in-kind donations, it partners with schools, hospitals, community organizations, and social programs to create opportunities, improve quality of life, and promote a more equitable and compassionate society.

Current Need
Asociación Damas Israelitas Pro Beneficencia is working to expand its support for vulnerable populations through initiatives in education, inclusion, health, and senior wellbeing. Current priorities include providing recycled desks to rural schools, equipping early stimulation classrooms for children with disabilities, and addressing critical needs within the Neonatology Department at Hospital México. Financial contributions and in-kind donations help ensure these programs continue reaching communities across Costa Rica and creating meaningful opportunities for those who need them most.
