Programs
Childcare Centers
Provide protection, nutritious meals, education, and comprehensive development opportunities for children in vulnerable situations.
Youth Shelters
Offer safe spaces, guidance, education, and development opportunities for adolescents and young people in need.
Social Support Programs
Provide food, essential goods, donations, and assistance to families experiencing poverty and high social vulnerability.
Current Need
Expanding and sustaining essential services for vulnerable families remains a key priority. The organization plans to begin construction of the Torre de la Alegría for women, formalize the Centro Educativo de la Alegría to serve 200 vulnerable children, and continue its nationwide Christmas celebration for 50,000 children. Donations, volunteer support, strategic partnerships, in-kind contributions, and greater awareness can help strengthen these programs and extend opportunities to more people across Costa Rica.
Growing Stronger Every Year
We’re proud to participate in Amigos of Costa Rica’s Transparency Badge System, which evaluates organizations across three key areas: financial stewardship, governance, and community impact.
Organizations are recognized at four levels of growth: Seed, Sprout, Sapling, and Tree, helping donors better understand each organization’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement.
The badges displayed below reflect our current achievements and our ongoing commitment to strengthening our organization and maximizing our impact.
