About
The Playa Grande Association for Sustainable Development is a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating a balance between responsible coastal development, community wellbeing, and environmental conservation. Working closely with local residents, businesses, and partners, the association leads initiatives that strengthen public safety, improve community infrastructure, support environmental education, and protect the area’s natural resources. Through collaborative action, it helps ensure that Playa Grande continues to grow in a way that benefits both people and the ecosystems that make the community unique.

Current Need
The association is raising $300,000 to build the first phase of Playa Grande’s pedestrian sidewalks and complete a new community playground, creating safer public spaces for residents and visitors. Continued support will also strengthen environmental conservation, community safety, and future infrastructure projects. Community involvement—through donations, partnerships, volunteering, and sharing the organization’s work—is essential to building a more sustainable Playa Grande.
