About
Dale Una Mano a Costa Rica is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering young people in Matina, one of Costa Rica’s most vulnerable regions. Since 2015, the organization has worked to expand opportunities through leadership development, employability training, vocational guidance, and community engagement. Its programs help youth build essential life skills, strengthen their confidence, and explore pathways toward education and employment. By fostering resilience, leadership, and active participation, Dale Una Mano a Costa Rica is helping create a more inclusive and hopeful future for young people and their communities.

Current Need
The organization is working to expand its impact by training more young people in leadership, employability, and life skills while extending its programs to additional vulnerable communities. Current priorities include training at least 80 youth, supporting youth-led community initiatives, and strengthening partnerships that increase long-term sustainability. Continued support helps create more opportunities for young people to develop the skills, confidence, and leadership needed to build brighter futures for themselves and their communities.

We’re proud to participate in Amigos of Costa Rica’s Transparency Badge System, which evaluates organizations across three key areas: financial stewardship, governance, and community impact.
