Fundación Ars TEOR/éTica is a leading cultural organization dedicated to supporting contemporary art, critical thinking, and knowledge exchange in Central America and the Caribbean. Founded in 1999 by artist and curator Virginia Pérez-Ratton, the organization creates opportunities for artistic research, experimentation, and dialogue through exhibitions, publications, grants, workshops, and public programs. By connecting local realities with regional and international perspectives, TEOR/éTica fosters reflection, creativity, and collective imagination. Its work positions art as a powerful tool for understanding the present and envisioning more inclusive and sustainable futures.

Current Need
TEOR/éTica is strengthening its role as a platform for artistic creation, critical dialogue, and cultural exchange across the region. Current priorities include expanding exhibition and public programming, publishing new editions of Escrituras Locales, enhancing its risograph printing workshop, and increasing support opportunities for artists, researchers, and collectives. Continued investment will also help improve workspaces, upgrade equipment, and ensure that art, research, and critical thought remain accessible to diverse communities throughout Central America and the Caribbean.
