Dreamcatchers Costa Rican Children is a nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening the holistic development of children and youth in rural communities through social-emotional education, sports, arts, culture, and leadership. Founded in 2017, the organization works alongside public schools, families, and community partners to prevent violence, promote inclusion, expand educational opportunities, and create safe environments where young people can reach their full potential. By investing in education and community wellbeing, Dreamcatchers helps build more resilient and equitable futures for rural Costa Rica.

Current Need
Expanding opportunities for children and youth in Nosara requires sustained community support. Dreamcatchers is working to provide permanent programs across seven public schools, reaching 1,500 students with arts, sports, mental health services, and violence prevention initiatives. Continued investment will also strengthen psychological support, family social work, strategic partnerships, and the long-term sustainability of programs that help children grow in safe, healthy, and inspiring environments.
