Fundación Pura Vida Fighting for Kids provides safe, supportive spaces where young people in Jacó can learn, grow, and reach their full potential. Since 2012, the organization has offered free programs centered on martial arts, mentorship, and personal development, helping youth build discipline, confidence, resilience, and a sense of belonging. Through Jiu-Jitsu, Judo, and complementary activities, participants develop life skills that support their education and personal growth. By providing positive role models and structured after-school opportunities, the foundation helps young people stay away from risky environments and create pathways toward brighter futures.

Current Need
Fundación Pura Vida Fighting for Kids is expanding its after-school programs to provide more structured activities and support for youth in Jacó. By extending daily operating hours, the organization aims to increase its reach from 90 to more than 120 participants annually while creating additional opportunities for mentorship, personal development, and skill-building. Continued support will also strengthen fundraising and operational capacity, helping ensure the long-term sustainability of programs that positively impact young people and their families.
