About
PATA Samara Animal Rescue is a volunteer-run nonprofit dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming dogs and cats while reducing animal suffering and overpopulation in the Sámara community. Founded in 2019, PATA provides veterinary care, spay/neuter and TNR programs, foster care, adoptions, and support for local pet owners. Through hands-on rescue and community education, the organization works to prevent unwanted litters, improve animal welfare, and help vulnerable animals find safe, loving homes.

Current Need
Continued community support allows PATA to rescue and care for animals in need while expanding sterilization efforts that prevent future suffering. Donations help cover veterinary care, food, medications, and foster support, while volunteers are needed at the refuge and through community activities. Joining a PATA walking tour or sharing the organization’s mission also helps raise awareness and sustain programs that protect dogs and cats throughout Sámara.
