We are a non-profit foundation, created in 2006, emphasizing our work in three areas:
1. Prevention of High School Dropout & Improvement of the Quality of Education
2. Youth Employability
3. Youth Violence Prevention
We work in public schools and communities in areas of high social vulnerability, developing programs of empowerment and youth leadership, promoting young people in their transition from school to work.
Our methodology implements an integral model, through which the students and teachers themselves identify the different causes of high school dropout. The different projects propose the construction of different cultural, sports and artistic projects, which seek the improvement of academic performance and group cohesion.
In the execution of the solutions, we articulate actions with university students, private companies with their Corporate Social Responsibility and Human Resources programs, non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and state institutions. These alliances contribute with resources, knowledge and support, aim of transforming the educational centers and communities into true centers of hope and development.
Since our creation, the foundation has impacted the academic and personal life of more than 20,000 students, more than 1,500 teachers in the country and has involved the participation of over 900 university students.
We have a central office in San José and offices in Limón, Guanacaste and Puntarenas, conformed of a young team of high professional of Education, Public Policy, Sociology, Psychology, Political Science, International Cooperation, Public and International Relations, Administration and Finance, and Project Management.
