The Ecological Association of Paquera, Lepanto, and Cobano (ASEPALECO) has been working in reforestation and land conservation in the Nicoya Peninsula since 1991. We actively re-wild and protect tropical forests and fundamental sources of water for the local communities (including Santa Teresa & Montezuma), and work in community involvement and sustainability through our environmental education, firefighter training, and recycling programs.

The Ecological Association of Paquera, Lepanto, and Cobano (ASEPALECO) has been working in reforestation and land conservation in the Nicoya Peninsula since 1991. We actively re-wild and protect tropical forests, fundamental sources of water for the local communities (including Santa Teresa and Montezuma), and more than 50 endangered species!

Additionally, we work in community involvement and long-term sustainability efforts, through our environmental education, firefighter training, and recycling programs.
