Animals that can never be released—because they are permanently injured or disabled—are cared for in KSTR’s wildlife sanctuary. KSTR works to minimize the causes of why animals need to be rescued and mitigate the major threats of wildlife in the region with their education in conservation program, reforestation project and wildlife bridges project.
