Originally from Devon, England, I first arrived in Costa Rica in 2006 after graduating from university with a degree in Photomedia and Design Communication. I spent my first years in the country living in the Monteverde cloud forest, working in conservation, guiding, and education—an experience that deepened my connection to Costa Rica and shaped the path that followed.
That journey eventually led me into tourism and storytelling. After beginning my career as a travel consultant designing customized luxury vacations across Central America, I transitioned into marketing with the Namu Travel Group. Over the last 18 years, I have evolved from an audiovisual storyteller and creative producer into my current role as Creative Director of Namu Travel. I also founded Tempest Pictures, an independent media agency focused on helping businesses grow through storytelling, strategy, and creative marketing solutions.
Based in San José, I live with my wife Karina and our young daughter Khloe. I’m passionate about travel, film, sports, and building meaningful connections that create positive impact.
Having spent nearly two decades building a life in Costa Rica, I’ve seen firsthand the incredible work nonprofits and community leaders do across the country. Joining Amigos felt like a natural opportunity to give back by helping connect storytelling, tourism, and philanthropy in ways that can create lasting impact and strengthen communities throughout Costa Rica.
