Stuart Graff is a retired attorney and global business leader from Chicago, now based in Guanacaste, Costa Rica. He began his career in intellectual property and competition law before serving as general counsel to multinational companies and later leading two global consumer products businesses. He also supported and/or served on the boards of numerous nonprofit organizations in arts, human services, and legal advocacy, including serving as lead counsel in landmark ADA insurance litigation.
From 2016 to 2024, Stuart was President and CEO of the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation, becoming its longest-serving leader since its founders. His tenure earned national recognition, including honors from Wallpaper and Fast Company, and helped secure UNESCO World Heritage status for Wright’s architecture.
He holds degrees from Northwestern University (engineering), Loyola University Chicago (JD), and Emory University (MBA). Now retired in Costa Rica with his husband Rob, Stuart joined the board of Amigos to making a positive impact in his new home.
